VFS Global, the renowned outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide, has appointed GB Srithar as the Head of Tourism Services, effective from February 1, 2024.

Bringing with him over 27 years of extensive experience, Srithar joins VFS Global from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), where he held various key roles, including Area Director for South India & Sri Lanka and Regional Director overseeing marketing and tourism development across multiple regions.

In his new role, Srithar will play a pivotal role in providing specialised services in Travel, Trade, and Tourism to support VFS Global's client governments in achieving their strategic objectives of enhancing tourism and trade in their respective countries.

Zubin Karkaria, Founder and CEO of VFS Global, expressed confidence in Srithar's appointment, citing his wealth of experience and proven track record. Srithar himself expressed enthusiasm for his new role, emphasising the opportunity to collaborate with client governments globally to promote and enhance Travel, Trade, and Tourism Services.

Srithar, a Singapore national, holds Bachelor's degrees in Sociology and English Language, as well as a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
